Artwork and Design

Print-ready PDFs are always preferrable, however, we accept print-ready files in the following formats: AI, EPS, TIFF, JPEG, PSD, and INDD.

When it comes to colors, the first thing to know is that your screen or computer monitor displays them in one color mode (RGB), while printers display them in another (CMYK). Therefore, the color you see on screen can vary from the printed color you see on paper and vice versa.

Your design should always be created in CMYK color mode. If you send us an RGB file, or a file with any RGB images, a color shift may occur in the final printed product.

These are the SAME colors, but in CMYK:

Image resolution refers to the level of detail, or pixels, in an image.

The best resolution for printing is 300 PPI. This is considered to be high resolution. PPI stands for pixels per inch. The greater the pixels per inch (PPI), the greater the print quality.

Images below 200 PPI are considered low resolution. Low-res images will appear pixelated and blurred after printing even though they may look fine on your computer screen.
